Role Overview
The GoHigh Level Specialist is responsible for owning, managing, and optimizing the entire backend technology and automation infrastructure for OutfitMD. This role serves as the internal technical authority for CRM systems, workflows, automations, integrations, and platform performance.
This position ensures OutfitMD has full internal control, visibility, and scalability of its systems. The role is highly technical, execution-focused, and critical to the company's ability to scale efficiently By maintaining strong internal ownership of platform logic and automation, this role enables seamless operations across Sales, Implementation, Client Success, and Marketing ensuring systems evolve alongside the business and can reliably support increased volume, complexity, and long-term expansion.
Primary Objectives
Own and manage OutfitMD's CRM and automation ecosystemBuild, maintain, and optimize GHL workflows and automationsEliminate dependency on external GHL vendorsEnsure system stability, scalability, and performanceSupport Implementation, Client Success, and Sales through reliable systems
Core Responsibilities
CRM & Automation Ownership
Serve as the primary internal expert for GoHighLevelBuild and maintain workflows, automations, triggers, and pipelinesConfigure forms, calendars, intake processes, and communication logicManage integrations with third-party tools (SMS, email, payment processors, etc.)Maintain clean data structures, tagging, and segmentation
Implementation & Technical Support
Support Implementation Support Specialists with backend buildsExecute technical setup for new client portalsTroubleshoot automation failures, bugs, and system issuesTest and QA systems before client launch
System Optimization & Scaling
Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and automation gapsOptimize workflows for speed, accuracy, and scalabilityPrepare systems to support increased client volumeDocument technical SOPs and system logic
Security, Compliance & Reliability
Ensure systems follow best practices for data handling and access controlManage user permissions and access levelsMonitor system uptime and automation health
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Implementation, Client Success, and MarketingTranslate business needs into technical solutionsProvide leadership with technical insight and recommendations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Automation reliability and uptimeReduction in system errors or failuresTime to resolve technical issuesSuccessful internalization of GHL managementSystem scalability and performance metrics
Required Skills & Qualifications
Advanced experience with GoHighLevel CRMAdvanced EnglishStrong understanding of automation logic and workflowsExperience with CRM architecture, pipelines, and data structureAbility to troubleshoot technical issues independentlyStrong documentation and organizational skillsAbility to communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams
Preferred
Experience replacing or auditing third-party CRM vendorsBackground in SaaS, automation, or technical operationsFamiliarity with HIPAA-aware systems (non-clinical)
