Our team aims to manage freight execution excellence through our transportation networks, focusing on carrier management, development, quality, and performance.This role requires an ambitious individual. You’ll represent a critical function within Amazon Transportation Operations, working to improve service levels, capacity, and costs of the Amazon Brazil Transportation Line Haul, ensuring customer promises are fulfilled consistently.Key job responsibilitiesManage transportation carrier performance, such as on-time truck performance.Extract and analyze data from various databases using Excel, Access, SQL, etc., and perform ad hoc reporting.Identify and monitor appropriate performance metrics, ensuring accountability.Communicate operational updates with external carriers and internal teams (Fulfillment Centers, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Amazon Logistics).Develop metrics to drive business results.Escalate issues or data variances to relevant teams and follow up on resolutions.Track metrics to identify and eliminate defects.Manage continuous improvements with carriers and develop SOPs.Participate in regular operations calls and business reviews.A day in the lifeAs a Transportation Manager, you'll resolve delivery issues impacting customers, collaborate across teams, and make timely decisions to ensure the delivery of Amazon packages worldwide. Your motivation and commitment will be key to maintaining high service levels.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree.Proficiency in analyzing large data sets.Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLookups).Fluent in English, both spoken and written.Experience in fast-paced Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or E-commerce environments.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology.Experience with MS Access and SQL.Ability to gather requirements and write detailed documentation.We support an inclusive culture.
