We seek to integrate a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master into our corporate web site product team. This team, a key component of our IT Marketing & Sales Omnichannel function, is responsible for delivering Boehringer Ingelheim corporate web site to our clients and customers within the Corporate Affair business. As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the successful execution of our agile methodology. You will work closely with a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve direct interaction with global business and IT teams, ensuring that our solutions align with their needs and contribute to their success.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Facilitate Scrum Events: Conduct Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
* Coach the Team: Guide the team in understanding and applying Scrum principles and practices.
* Help the team self-organize and improve its performance.
* Remove Impediments: Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
* Work with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure the team has what they need to be successful.
* Protect the Team: Shield the team from external distractions and interruptions.
* Ensure that the team has a conducive environment to focus on its work.
* Foster Collaboration: Promote a collaborative and positive team culture.
* Encourage open communication and conflict resolution.
* Measure and Improve: Monitor the team's progress and identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance the team's effectiveness.
Requirements
* Strong understanding of Scrum principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to facilitate group discussions and resolve conflicts.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
* Knowledge in Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking, and OKRs.
