Business Development Manager - Travel Industry
We are seeking a seasoned business development professional with a background in the travel industry to join our team as a Business Development Manager.
About the Role:
* Oversee existing client relationships and develop strategic account plans to drive growth and identify new opportunities.
* Acquire new key accounts within assigned territories through proactive business development and relationship building.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions.
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue generation.
* Develop and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and foster account growth.
* Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from clients.
* Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
Requirements:
* Strong influencing and negotiation skills to build and maintain successful long-term commercial relationships.
* Proven ability to deliver results in an autonomous working environment.
* Commercial knowledge of the travel & hospitality industries.
* Proficiency in English and Portuguese as working languages; Spanish is a plus.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years of experience in business development or a related field.
2. Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
