Astrum Search are working exclusively with a leading FTSE 100 group who are looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to join its Global Internal Audit function, supporting operations across Brazil and the wider LATAM region.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a global organisation with significant exposure, autonomy, and visibility at senior levels. The LATAM team has been recently formed in response growth across the LATAM region.
Working from the São Paulo head office, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial and operational audits, influencing stakeholders, and helping improve the control environment across a diverse and growing portfolio of businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering end-to-end audits across multiple LATAM businesses, from planning through reporting.
* Assessing financial, operational, and governance controls, identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
* Presenting audit findings to senior management and drafting high-impact audit reports read at Board level.
* Conducting follow-up reviews and supporting management in implementing corrective actions.
* Contributing to monthly reporting and supporting ad-hoc initiatives within the global audit team.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA preferred) or relevant postgraduate degree.
* Experience in external audit (Big 4 preferred) and/or internal audit within large, complex organisations.
* Fluency in English and Spanish (as well as Portuguese) is ideal.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the confidence to lead audits independently.
* Ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complexity, and challenge ways of working constructively.
* Flexibility to travel across LATAM 30-40% of the time.
