About the Company
Within the Energy Business Line, the Software Grid Solution (SGS) department is responsible for managing the Smart Metering / Smart Grid server software product line, integrating it into customer ecosystems, and delivering a range of services to clients (SaaS, DaaS, operation of deployed platforms, audits, etc.). The infrastructures deployed by Sagemcom are now considered critical infrastructures and are therefore subject to local requirements in terms of cybersecurity, data protection, and related regulations. SGS acts as the lead entity for the various Research & Development (R&D) centers based in EMEA, as well as for the different satellite entities (customer-facing teams) managing our utility clients locally. The solutions deployed by Sagemcom consist of IoT platforms supporting all communication protocols with smart meters, covering their technical and business management, as well as a set of innovative features (analytics) addressing Smart Metering use cases, along with a range of professional services.
About the Role
Highly technical in nature, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of several ongoing or newly awarded Brazilian programs related to the implementation of our end-to-end multi-energy solutions.
Responsibilities
* Implementing and monitoring projects in line with client requirements (schedule, technical solutions, KPIs)
* Managing a local team composed of Solution R&D Project Managers and Field Application Engineers responsible for technical program management locally
* Managing project P&L
* Supporting sales teams during pre-sales and tender phases in your region
* Acting as the local representative of the SGS Department Director, with direct reporting on program activities within your scope
Qualifications
* Master’s degree (Bac+5), preferably from an engineering school or with a specialization in IoT information systems
Required Skills
* Program management, including deployment of IoT solutions and professional services (SaaS, DaaS, etc.) for business clients (in a B2C context)
* Strong analytical mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
* Fluent English required;
willingness to travel internationally is key
Preferred Skills
* Certifications such as PMI, Prince2, or ITIL would be a strong advantage.
