Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Murex professional to join our team in providing support for various system implementations, configurations, and developments. Key responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.
Other key tasks include following client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements, supporting IT and business audits, developing and testing database and infrastructure changes, performing technical reviews of production changes, and writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical capability and a solid understanding of datamart concepts. Minimum 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity is required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work on variety of Murex system implementation, configuration and development in various aspects of Murex including datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS and MDCS
2. Coordinate and communicate with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document and verify requirements
3. Analyse and make recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience
4. Follow client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements
5. Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments
6. Development and testing of database and infrastructure changes
7. Perform technical reviews of production changes
8. Write clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within Confluence
9. Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches
10. Deal directly with business users across the bank including front, middle and back office, finance, product control and risk to analyse and diagnose business critical issues
11. Analyse and resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting
12. Provides detailed information about issues to the vendor, and co-ordinates with them in testing fixes / solutions
13. Acts as an intermediary between business and vendor
14. Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation
