On behalf of my client, RED is urgently looking for a SAP ABAP Consultant for a fully remote role.
Role: ABAP Consultant
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + extension
Capacity: 5 days per week
Location: Remote
Hours: Central European Time (CET)

What you’ll build
In this role, you'll be part of a small engineering team
You'll take ownership of legal change development tasks - from understanding requirements and designing solutions to implementing, testing, and delivering high-quality code.
Alongside development, you'll handle support tasks -analyzing and resolving customer incidents, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and reliability of existing integration solutions.
This gives you deep insight into real-world usage and strengthens your technical expertise.
You'll collaborate with your Engineering Lead and Product Management to clarify requirements, align on technical approaches, and ensure smooth delivery.
On the technical side, you'll deepen your ABA expertise, contribute to architectural discussions, and help drive quality standards within the team.
You are a hands-on developer with a passion for clean code and a curiosity for bank statement processing
• Excellent software engineering skills with experience in ABAP
• Expert experience with bank statement processing and business processes
• Expert experience with Brazil's tax reform and Brazil banks' statement formats CNAB240 andCNAB750 (MANDATORY)
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks while collaborating effectively in a team
