We are seeking a highly skilled IT Specialist to join our organization.
This role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to solve problems independently and communicate solutions clearly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees, both onsite and remote.
* Serve as the first point of contact for internal IT support requests, providing timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various platforms.
* Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools.
* Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication.
* Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
* Conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments.
* Support cybersecurity initiatives, including employee security awareness training and incident response.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365). They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience/certifications) is required. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), or Google IT Support Professional Certificate are a plus.
