This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing Windows environments, troubleshooting system and network issues, and administering core Microsoft infrastructure services.
We are seeking an expert who can manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
The ideal candidate will have solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments. They will also be able to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment. Furthermore, they will collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
A strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting is essential for this role. The ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision is also crucial. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude are required.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group administration, OU structure, and permissions.
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Windows-based services such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
* Perform root-cause analysis and resolve issues related to authentication and system performance.
* Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical problems as needed.
* Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and operational procedures.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Strong knowledge of Active Directory and related services.
* Proficiency in managing DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
* Solid troubleshooting skills for authentication and performance issues in Windows environments.
* Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, and IP subnetting.
* Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications (not required but a plus):
* Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MSCE).
* Experience with remote desktop support tools.
* Familiarity with scripting and automation (PowerShell is a plus).
