We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Commodities Asset Class Validator. This role will involve supporting the validation process for onboarding Commodities Asset class to an Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
The ideal candidate will have experience in capital markets, preferably in Commodities and/or Equity Derivatives. They will be responsible for resolving daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing, addressing daily issues from the FO Equity Derivatives desk, and collaborating closely with EQD Desk Traders (L3).
Responsibilities:
1. Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
2. Address daily issues from the FO Equity Derivatives desk
3. Collaborate closely with EQD Desk Traders (L3)
4. Ammend FO pre-trade rules, eTradePad, simulations
5. Resolve requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
6. Analyze, formulate, propose, develop, and/or contribute to overall solutions as per PROD Support deliverables
7. Liaise with technical teams when needed to resolve FO-related issues and enhancements
8. Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
9. Yield Curve issue resolution and validation; curve assignments; new curve creation
10. Continuously follow-up on new Market regulations/practices globally
11. Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
12. Develop FO Business requirements per given stream and according to Project needs as they come along
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong product knowledge in EQD, COM
2. Very strong understanding of FX, IRD business
3. Very Strong understanding on P&L concept overall and its components
4. Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
5. Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
6. 5+ years experience with Murex FO functionalities
7. 4+ years experience in financial markets role
8. SQL proficiency
9. Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills
10. Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
11. Possess good verbal and written communication skills
12. Must have strong organization skills
