ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain web applications using a combination of frontend and backend technologiesCollaborate with design and product teams to implement responsive, intuitive user interfacesDevelop and maintain content management systems, including Drupal or other modern CMS platformsEnsure application security, performance, and scalability using web development best practicesTroubleshoot and optimize existing codebases for better performance and maintainabilityParticipate in code reviews and contribute to development standards and processesStay current with emerging technologies and suggest improvements to the tech stackRequired Skills and ExperienceProficient in JavaScript, PHP, HTML, and CSSExperience working with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar)Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Symfony or LaravelCMS experience, preferably with Drupal or WordPress (custom module/theme experience a plus)Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL or PostgreSQL)Version control experience using GitAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with headless CMS architecture and REST/GraphQL APIsFamiliarity with Docker or containerized development environmentsUnderstanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practicesExposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHPUnit)Interest in DevOps practices or deployment workflows in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS)
