Agile Team Facilitator
A Agile Team Facilitator is needed to join a Product and Engineering environment, supporting one to two Scrum teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices.
* Support and guide one Scrum team, with potential responsibility for a second team.
* Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring alignment with Agile principles.
* Partner with an enterprise Agile Coach to improve team performance and delivery.
* Assist with the implementation and adoption of SAFe practices.
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master, strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, familiarity with SAFe, and experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar. The facilitator will work closely with the engineering teams to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement through experimentation and feedback. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure smooth project execution and identify areas for improvement.
2. Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business objectives.
3. Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and best practices.
4. Identify and escalate impediments that may impact team progress and deliverables.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Agile principles, strong facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence or similar and be familiar with SAFe methodologies.
