Key Purpose of the Position:
The Learning and Development Specialist supports the implementation of corporate projects in the region's languages, assists HR teams and leadership in building and implementing solutions that contribute to the development and growth of people and business, whilst ensuring strategic alignment with JBT Marel’s Transformation Goals.
As a growth region with operational complexity, LATAM requires a dedicated L&D leader who will:
Translate global strategies into locally relevant development programs.
Ensure cultural and linguistic adaptation of corporate initiatives.
Drive employee engagement and capability building in alignment with transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support coordination and operational implementations considering the complexity of operations in LATAM due to the presence of five end markets and services (Meat, Poultry, DF&H, Fish, Prepared Foods, Service, and Software & Digital).
Support all active Product Categories through multifunctional training and development.
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive learning environment across LATAM.
Adapt and localize corporate initiatives to reflect regional cultures and languages, ensuring they are effectively implemented and achieve the desired impact, presenting and communicating training offers (course description, implementation etc).
Evaluate projects and learning activities with the aim of continuous improvement.
Oversee that training results and completion are registered in the learning management system.
Support the mapping and development of talents.
Support the management and operationalization of LATAM succession plans.
Keep the competency matrices of the technical areas updated and use them to measure gaps and create a development plan.
Support merger and acquisition initiatives through targeted training and change management support.
Ensure effective utilization of Workday from a talent management perspective, including the development and deployment of talent metrics.
Support the implementation process of Great Place to Work for the new LATAM organization.
Experience and Education:
Experience:
5+ years of HR leadership experience with focus on Talent Management.
5+ years of people management experience.
Experience working comfortably in multicultural, multidisciplinary environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, organizational development or related disciplines.
Preferred: Master’s degree in related field.
Knowledge and Skills:
Good communication skills and resourceful thinking.
Strong analytical skills with a keen understanding of processes, documentation, data, and systems.
Excellent English and Spanish skills both written and oral.
Project‑management skills, develop project plans, engage stakeholders, plan and deliver on time.
Proficient in using various authoring tools for digital learning content creation; approachable, open to inspire and challenge people.
Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication and change management skills.
Location: Araraquara/SP or Campinas/SP.
Willingness to travel across LATAM to support in‑person training and stakeholder engagement.
