Business Development Manager for Nutraceutical Ingredients in LATAM
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to lead our nutraceutical ingredients sales efforts across LATAM. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the dietary supplement and functional food & beverage industries, as well as proven experience in prospecting, building pipelines, negotiating, and closing deals across multiple countries.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive growth across LATAM by selling nutraceutical ingredients to key accounts, fostering senior-level relationships with brand owners, CDMOs/contract manufacturers, and distributors.
* Develop and execute country- and segment-level territory plans to capture new business opportunities.
* Present nutraceutical ingredients to customers, clearly articulating benefits, applications, and go-to-market strategies.
* Collaborate with technical, regulatory, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and product launches.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify white space and protect market share.
* Meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets with accurate forecasting and disciplined CRM hygiene.
* Represent the company at regional trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Requirements
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience in nutraceutical ingredients within LATAM.
* Strong understanding of nutraceutical ingredients and their applications in dietary supplements and functional F&B.
* Proven ability to prospect, build pipelines, negotiate, and close deals across multiple countries.
* Language: Fluent Portuguese and Spanish; English is a plus.
* Self-starter comfortable working remotely; excellent territory/time management.
* Based in Brazil with willingness to travel across LATAM as required.
* Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (ZOHO preferred).
