**Automotive UX Study Project Coordinator Opportunity**
* Orchestrate day-to-day study operations, assist in moderating in-vehicle research sessions with local drivers and provide light device/IT support.
We are looking for a bilingual (Portuguese/English) project-management pro with a solid technical toolkit and on-the-ground research chops to lead a fast-moving automotive UX study in São Paulo.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and owning the project plan, working closely with the Ops Manager and UX Research Lead. You will also moderate ~2 weeks of in-vehicle sessions, guiding participants through tasks and capturing high-quality data.
* Project Management & Coordination:
* Build and own the project plan—timelines, budget, participant milestones.
* Run stand-ups with distributed teammates.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Research Execution:
* Moderate ~2 weeks of in-vehicle sessions in São Paulo.
* Translate consent forms, short surveys, and session notes between Portuguese and English.
Technical & Logistics Support:
* Prep, track, and recover equipment used to execute study.
* Troubleshoot participant hardware, connectivity, and account issues; escalate edge-case bugs to engineering via internal tools.
* Document and iterate on SOPs, and data ingestion for future Brazil-based studies.
Basic Qualifications
* Residence / Work Authorization: Based in the greater São Paulo area; legally authorized to work as an independent contractor in Brazil.
* Language: Native-level Portuguese and professional-level English (spoken & written).
* Experience:
* 3+ years in project coordination, research operations, UX research, or similar.
* Comfort diagnosing common hardware/connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Android/iOS devices, Bluetooth peripherals).
* Tools: Google Workspace, project-management suite (e.g., Asana/JIRA), basic spreadsheets; willingness to learn internal research platform.
* Soft Skills: Exceptional organization, proactive communication, unflappable in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
Bonus Requirements
* Prior automotive or in-vehicle research experience.
* Prior Team management or project coordination experience.
Contract Details & Perks
* Term: 3 months, ~40 hrs/week.
* Hybrid: Remote most days; up to 2 weeks of on-site fieldwork.
* Compensation: Competitive monthly contractor rate in BRL, based on experience.
