Android Developer Position
We are seeking an experienced Android developer to join our global team. This opportunity is open to professionals with fluent English and at least 5 years of Android development experience using Kotlin.
About the Role:
We design, develop, and prototype high-quality Android applications (internal and external). We collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver impactful features. We own the full app lifecycle: concept, design, build, test, deploy, and release. We contribute to architecture decisions and continuously improve development practices. We mentor fellow engineers and help define coding standards and workflows. We stay up-to-date with the latest Android platform features and trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications using Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy high-quality Android apps. Own the full app lifecycle from concept to release. Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement of development practices. Mentor junior engineers and define coding standards and workflows. Stay current with the latest Android platform features and trends.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of Android development experience using Kotlin. Proven experience shipping at least one high-quality Android app with a team. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Android ecosystem constraints. Experience building scalable, reliable, and responsive mobile applications. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Points:
Distributed team experience beneficial. Familiarity with modern development tools, CI/CD, testing, and performance tuning a plus. Passion for user-centric design and creating impactful mobile experiences valuable.
