Expert SAP Basis Consultant Needed
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. As an expert in SAP server installation/configuration, high availability setup, and SAP BASIS server administration, you will be responsible for ensuring SLA adherence and process compliance.
* Ensure timely delivery of projects and maintain a high level of quality
* Mentor and train junior team members
* Handle complex technical issues and troubleshoot system problems
* Lead the installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade activities of SAP systems
* Develop and implement operational processes to maximize system uptime
* Collaborate with functional teams on cutover strategies and post-implementation support
Key Technical Skills:
* SAP server installation/configuration (ABAP, Java, ABAP+Java stacks)
* High Availability setup (Unix/Windows)
* Expert-level knowledge of SAP BASIS server administration and root cause analysis
* Experience with environment setup and maintenance
* End-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations for global clients
* SAP version and EHP upgrades
* Performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting across app, DB, and OS
* Deep understanding of NetWeaver components (EP, PI, BI, ECC, CRM, SRM, SolMan, TREX, MDM)
* Proficiency in Oracle DB, BRTools, SAP HANA DB, Sybase ASE, Linux/Windows admin
Essential Soft Skills:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong documentation and MS Office skills (Project, Visio)
* Customer-centric mindset with high adaptability
* Ability to manage unforeseen situations and drive value
Additional Requirements:
* Production systems and data center operations experience
* Server migration, patching, and upgrade experience
