This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise-level software solutions. You will work on both supporting existing applications and creating new features that improve functionality and user experience. Operating in an agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality software while adhering to best practices and coding standards. The position emphasizes technical excellence, problem-solving, and continuous learning, allowing you to grow your expertise in Java and related technologies. You will also participate in planning, code reviews, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Accountabilities:
Analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Design, implement, and maintain web applications, integrations, and software components.
Develop database views, stored procedures, and functions.
Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Document development work clearly and thoroughly for future reference.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software.
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years specifically in Java.
Solid understanding of Java, MVC frameworks, JPA, JSP, JSON, JSF, Struts, Hibernate, Maven, and Spring Boot 2.
Experience with frontend technologies such as JavaScript and JQuery.
Familiarity with development tools and APIs: Git, Swagger, YAML, GraphQL, Subversion.
Experience with microservices and servers: Websphere App Server 8.5, Websphere MQ 8.0.
Proficiency with SQL Server 2012+ and database development.
Experience working in agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Indefinite contract with direct employment.
