Your role
As a Solutions Architect on our Professional Services team, you’re the technical backbone of deployments, delivering a world‑class experience throughout the project lifecycle. You work cross‑functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Support to educate and onboard clients, ensuring their long‑term success. This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager, Solutions Architect and requires working US hours.
What You’ll Do
* Assist customers with complex integration, hardware, and technical needs.
* Conduct admin training, configure integrations, support device provisioning, and troubleshoot technical issues.
* Design and configure contact center call flows and integrate with business systems.
* Tailor Dialpad solutions to optimize call handling, automation, and analytics.
* Provision and configure desk phones with best‑practice recommendations.
* Lead deployment efforts, overseeing call flow design, integrations, and system configurations.
* Identify and report bugs during deployments, ensuring smooth transitions.
* Analyze and refine workflows for efficiency and performance improvements.
* Conduct video‑conferencing sessions to guide clients through implementation.
* Maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
* Create and maintain thorough project documentation.
* Partner with Dialpad Project Managers to deliver excellent customer success.
* Manage projects using cloud platforms and tools such as Salesforce and PSA tools.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Monitor and report project status to managers and leadership.
Skills You’ll Bring
* Excellent grasp of Google G‑Suite and Office 365.
* Experience with Business VoIP Telephony Services (On‑Premise or SaaS).
* In‑depth knowledge of VoIP codecs (G.711, G.729, G.722, OPUS), H.264, VP8/VP9, WebRTC, H.323, SIP, and network analyzers.
* Knowledge of network infrastructure: firewalls, routers, switches, wireless;
WAN technologies such as MPLS, VPLS, and SD‑WAN.
* Understanding of data center technologies and public/private clouds.
* Familiarity with enterprise service delivery components: web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, NAS.
* Proven track record implementing CCaaS and UCaaS solutions.
* Engineering services experience in software engineering, programming languages, system integrations, and database management (nice to have).
