Role and Responsibilities
* Provide technical notes sharing lessons learned.
* Support and provide inputs to Digital / OIPOC team.
* Develop, support, and evaluate process testing (e.g., new demulsifier, CO2 membranes, new flocculant).
* Participate in bi-weekly solids dashboard meetings with key stakeholders (UOMs, OIMs, offshore, etc.).
* Attend weekly technical monitoring meetings with Facilities Engineer (solids, CO2 health, mol sieves health).
* Perform internal technical audits or support on audit findings (e.g., ANP Thematic Audit - Flaring, ESDVs).
* Define and execute 3-year plan related to preventive facilities scope.
* Manage PR and follow-up on POs related to job activities.
* Ensure compliance with IFS CAPA actions and investigate tier 2 incidents if applicable.
* Support facilities engineer with PDCA bad actors.
* Participate in and support technical meetings offshore, addressing process deviations and coordinating actions.
* Participate in client meetings related to process discipline.
* Contribute to risk assessments (HAZOP, HAZID, ORA, TRA, SIL) and implement recommendations.
* Review HAZOP action plans.
* Respond to RDO and letters when applicable.
* Support audits as needed.
* Evaluate QnA/MoC SME, provide technical recommendations, and raise concerns to MoC team.
* Initiate improvements to increase equipment/process reliability, safety, and quality.
* Provide technical assistance offshore related to safety processes through facilities engineering.
* Support or execute company-wide initiatives (e.g., flaring reduction).
Skills
Self-guided, team-oriented, resilient, negotiator, analytical thinker, logical, persistent, structured, able to work under pressure, emotionally intelligent, prioritization skills, capable of planning and executing action plans.
Experience
* Experience in the chemical industry as a process engineer.
* Project-focused process engineering experience.
* Oil and gas industry experience (desired).
