Job Title: Regional Development and Urban Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Development and Urban Planning Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in implementing projects that promote sustainable urban development and regional growth.
About the Job:
This is a long-term assignment with a duration of 48 months. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to identify opportunities for urban regeneration, develop strategies for climate-neutral economies, and implement initiatives that promote social and affordable housing.
Main Responsibilities:
The Regional Development and Urban Planning Specialist will be responsible for:
* Developing and implementing projects that promote sustainable urban development and regional growth;
* Working with EU, EIB, WB, and other financed projects to achieve project objectives;
* Providing expertise on urban planning, urban renewal, and regeneration, as well as transition to climate-neutral economies and environmental sustainability;
* Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement territorial governance mechanisms and partnerships;
* Conducting impact assessments to ensure projects meet required standards.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* At least 10 years of professional experience in regional and urban development, urban buildings and social infrastructure, economic development, and disaster risk management;
* A Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree relevant to the topic;
* Excellent command of English (CEFR C1);
* Experience working with EU, EIB, WB, and other financed projects;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
