Job Description
The role of a Podcast Audio Editor is to edit and refine podcast audio files to meet high-quality standards. This involves working closely with the content team to maintain consistency and efficiency in meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities include editing raw podcast audio into polished, broadcast-ready episodes, removing filler words and improving pacing and clarity without altering the speaker's voice or intent. Additionally, inserting intro/outro segments, sponsor reads, disclaimers, and updates when required, following embedded audio notes and written instructions carefully, and delivering clean final WAV/MP3 files on deadline.
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience editing long-form podcasts, strong editorial judgment, excellent attention to detail, and comfort working with physician and expert-level conversations.
Key skills and qualifications include proficiency in audio editing, sound design, and music production, as well as familiarity with tools like Descript, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic, or similar software.

* Restructure sections when needed based on how questions were answered
