Job Description
Nidec Aerospace is seeking a Sales & Contract Manager who will be directly responsible for managing the customer relationship, negotiating supply agreements, and ensuring that all contractual commitments are properly structured, tracked and executed successfully. This is a hands‑on role working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer that combines sales, commercial negotiation, contract execution, and ERP purchase order management.
The individual is responsible for
Sales & Contract Negotiation
Build strong, trusted relationships with customers
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, offers, and quotations
Review and negotiate contract terms (scope, pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, warranties, penalties, etc.)
Ensure signed contracts are properly documented, communicated, and stored
Contract Execution
Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact for commercial and contractual matters.
Act as the contract owner post‑signature, ensuring all commitments are fulfilled. Manage contract extensions, and amendments
Work hand‑in‑hand with the program team to monitor, track and negotiate commercial impact due to technical change per contractual terms
Support program managers in resolving commercial issues with customers
Identify risks and work with program team to deploy contingency plan
ERP & Order Management
Enter and maintain all contracts and orders in the ERP system
Manage delivery milestones, invoicing, and payments in ERP in collaboration with Logistic and Accounting team
Monitor receivables and work with Finance to secure timely payments
Work closely with Trade and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with company policies, export controls, and regulatory requirements
Update CRM with contract detail and customer interaction, ensuring it reflects real‑time status
Technical Attributes and Experience
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and execution‑driven
Excellent ERP proficiency for order / contract tracking and reporting
Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com
Presentation skills
Ability to bridge commercial and operational priorities
Strong communication skills with customers and cross‑functional teams
Financial awareness (payment terms, penalties, DSO, margin protection)
Minimum Requirements (proficiency levels aligned to job level)
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
5–8 years of experience in contract management, commercial management, or program execution (industrial, engineering, aerospace, or similar sector preferred)
Hands‑on experience managing contract execution in close coordination with program / project teams
Proven experience using ERP and CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or equivalent)
Proficiency in Business English
