If that’s you, we invite you to join us!Job DescriptionA Trade Compliance Planner is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations during cross-border transactions, including managing documentation, audits, and internal procedures to meet legal and corporate standards. The role involves minimizing costs and enhancing productivity within the supply chain.Your ResponsibilitiesAddress classification differences and collaborate to prevent brokerage delays.Coordinate and maintain certification requirements across functions.Align policies with supply chain security standards.Implement special regimes like FTZ and temporary imports.Conduct internal audits and collaborate with third-party consultants.Monitor service levels of customs brokers using KPIs.Perform site audits and assess import/export processes.Review and approve customs documentation.Update SOPs to reflect current operations.Handle compliance requests and participate in projects.Maintain accurate inventory records for Trade Compliance at manufacturing sites in Mexico.The Essentials - You Will HaveBachelor’s Degree in International Commerce or related field.1-2 years of experience in Foreign Trade.Proficiency in English (minimum 50%).Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic SAP knowledge.The Preferred - You Might Also HaveAdvanced knowledge of customs and trade compliance regulations.Experience with bonded warehouses and FTZ environments.Knowledge of logistics and supply chain security.Experience with audits and assessments.Additional language skills (e.g., Spanish).Experience with advanced data analysis tools.Proven cost-saving and efficiency improvement contributions.What We OfferMindfulness programs, including Calm membership.Volunteer paid time off after 6 months.Charity donation matching programs.Employee Assistance and wellbeing programs.Access to a digital professional development library.Other local benefits.At Rockwell Automation, we value diversity and inclusion.
