About the Role:
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work with large-scale data processing and storage systems using AWS technologies. You'll be responsible for:
* Designing and implementing serverless architectures for efficient data processing and storage
* Developing data ingestion pipelines and integration processes to transfer data from various sources into our DataLake
* Implementing data transformation and enrichment processes using AWS Lambda, Glue, or similar technologies to ensure data quality and consistency
* Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and design appropriate data models and schemas in the DataLake
* Optimizing data storage and retrieval mechanisms using AWS services like S3, Athena, Redshift, or DynamoDB
* Monitoring and troubleshooting the DataLake infrastructure to identify performance bottlenecks and resolve data processing errors
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Extensive experience working as a Data Engineer (5+ years) with a strong focus on AWS technologies and serverless architectures
* Experience working with AWS services like S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Redshift, and DynamoDB
* Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala, along with expertise in SQL for data manipulation and querying
* Familiarity with data modeling techniques and data warehousing concepts
* Solid understanding of data security, access control, and compliance requirements
* Experience with data visualization tools and collaboration with analysts and data scientists
