Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Director to oversee the end-to-end execution of complex projects within our agile engineering environment. This role is responsible for translating business priorities into actionable plans, driving clarity, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for building and managing delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking using Jira.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Developing and executing delivery strategies that align with business objectives
* Partnering with engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitating working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops to ensure alignment and drive decision-making
* Tracking and reporting on delivery progress using appropriate metrics and tools
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
