Role SummaryThe Process Engineer is responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing efficient industrial processeswhile maintaining close collaboration with clients. This role acts as a key technical liaison, translating clientrequirements into practical, compliant, and cost-effective process solutions. The Process Engineer works directlywith customers throughout the project lifecyclerequirements gathering, process definition, implementation,validation, and continuous improvementensuring technical excellence and high levels of client satisfaction. In addition to process design and optimization, the role involves leading technical discussions, supportingdecision-making with data-driven insights, managing change requests, and addressing client concerns in aproactive and solutions-oriented manner. Strong communication skills, customer focus, and the ability to alignengineering solutions with business needs are essential for success in this position. Essential Responsibilities- Manage and assess process changes requested by clients, ensuring feasibility, compliance, and riskmitigation- Prepare and maintain process documentation, including flow diagrams, SOPs, work instructions, andreports- Ensure processes comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards applicable to the industry- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, quality, engineering, sales, and project management)- Provide technical support during audits, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis- Monitor process performance using KPIs and recommend continuous improvement actions- Support cost estimation, timelines, and technical inputs for proposals and project planning- Build long-term client relationships through technical credibility, responsiveness, and solution-orientedcommunication- Act as the primary technical point of contact between the company and clients for process-related matters- Gather, analyze, and translate client requirements into detailed process specifications and technicalsolutions- Design, develop, and optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness- Lead technical meetings, workshops, and presentations with clients to align expectations and communicateprogress- Support process implementation, commissioning, and validation at client sites or remotely- Identify process improvement opportunities and propose data-driven, innovative solutionsQualifications/Requirements- English Conversation level- Bachelor''s degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical- Engineering, or a related field- Strong knowledge of process design, process mapping, and optimization methodologies- Experience working in the mining industry- Hands-on experience with process implementation, troubleshooting, and performance improvement- Spanish is a diferential.
