ADP is hiring a Quality Assurance Analyst – Lyric.Hybrid work model, Porto Alegre/RS Office location.What You’ll DoYou will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goals with your team. You will spend most of your day continuously evaluating existing test coverage, identifying gaps, and implementing test strategies to achieve as much confidence as possible in your automation and to assure product quality. Your role also requires you to advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience. In this role, you will work with the development team and Product Owner to gather details on features we want to develop and use that information to build and execute product testing for ADP's web-based Human Resource solutions to determine customer usability before deployment. This role is critical to making sure we deploy usable products.What You Need To Succeed In This RoleDemonstrates advanced understanding and experience on: As Quality Assurance Analyst / Test EngineerJavascript and TypescriptTest AutomationWriting Test ScenariosUsing API testingTesting web UI and API applicationsWorking with Continuous Integration process and tools like JenkinsYou have studied and played with Selenium or Cucumber for UI testing automationAdvanced EnglishWhat Will Make You Stand OutYou have development experience using some languages like Javascript, Java or C#Ability to validate applications in distributed environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including experience with containerization tools such as Docker and KubernetesProficiency in modern, fast-growing frameworks like Playwright or CypressPrompt Engineering for QA: Crafting multi-step prompts to generate cases from requirements, create synthetic test data, or perform root-cause analysis on logsAutonomous Test Agents: Proficiency in managing “Agentic AI”, systems (like Mabl or Testim) that perform semi-autonomous tasks such as dynamic test generation and regression prioritizationHere’s What You Can Expect On a Typical DayAgile. You understand that an agile environment requires flexibility. Sometimes the scope is not fully written and you will have to talk with the Product Owner and the team to get more details and complement the User Stories. You and the team will define the sprint goal together. Working in two-week sprints, you need to keep up with timelines. Time constraints and fluidity of work often mean taking a creative approach to your testing strategy. Starting test development in parallel with the feature development may be one option.Create & Test. You'll define test plans and scenarios and will implement automated test cases for large-scale, complex software applications. You will focus on the verification and validation of applications from a system and end-user perspective.Collaborate. We work collaboratively, so you will communicate and collaborate with technical developers and multiple stakeholders for your products. You'll articulate clear and compelling reasons to persuade developers and Product Owners to make product changes for the end user's benefit.Learning. You're always learning new codes and eager to figure things out as you learn.Challenges.
