Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
We are seeking a talented individual to play a key role in building our core platform. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative AI-native services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining front-end applications, back-end architecture, and AI integration. They will also work closely with AI engineers to ensure seamless integration of intelligent functionality into our products.
This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced environments and delivering high-quality code on time.
As a member of our team, you will work closely with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent industry regulations. You will also partner with product managers to deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks.
Our client is building an AI-centric operating system for utilities. It harnesses AI at the enterprise level to better orchestrate customer delight, facilitate power optimization, improve the health of the grid, and unlock flexibility at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
* Front-End Development: Build, implement, and maintain front-end applications
* Back-End Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of our OS
* Ai Integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systems. Operate AI APIs, ensuring outputs are production-ready and aligned with enterprise utility requirements.
* System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices
* Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent industry regulations, implementing secure coding practices by default
* Agile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliability
Required qualifications include:
* Excellent English communication skills
* 5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments
* Strong proficiency in React.js, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or Java (non-Golang developers will learn and adopt Golang on the job)
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams
* Basic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs)
* Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architectures
* Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over time
* Strong sense of ownership and accountability in small teams
