Mission - Strengthen the competitiveness of the Marine Region by leading and coordinating all drawing approval and new building survey activities within the Country, ensuring full compliance with international and flag state requirements. LI-KMKey Accountabilities - Plan Approval and Survey Management: - Lead and supervise all drawing approval and new building survey activities within the Country. - Ensure full compliance of designs with international regulations and flag state requirements. - Deliver services according to applicable rules, procedures, and working tools, maintaining the highest technical standards. Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Naval EngineeringQualifications - Professional Experience: - Solid experience in the marine or ship classification industry, with a strong background in plan approval and newbuilding survey processes. Experience should include direct involvement in the assessment of ship design documentation (hull, machinery, electrical systems), as well as onsite technical verification and coordination with shipyards and designers. Technical Competence: - Solid knowledge of classification society rules (e.g., RINA, IACS), international regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, ISM Code), and flag state requirements. - Proficiency in evaluating ship structures, stability, safety systems, propulsion and auxiliary systems, automation, and electrical installations. - Experience in reviewing and approving drawings for various ship types (e.g., cargo, passenger, offshore units) and familiarity with modern ship design tools and processes. - Capability to interpret complex engineering documents, standards, and specifications, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
