We're seeking an experienced developer to lead the design and implementation of innovative solutions for a top-tier hedge fund.
About the Role:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for developing complex applications from scratch, including systems for traders, pre-trade checks, risk management, and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop data models using industry best practices
* Implement fixes for connectivity with market data providers (e.g. Bloomberg B-pipe)
* Develop and maintain various trading-related applications
Requirements:
* At least 1 year of experience in the trading domain/capital markets
* Strong understanding of data quality principles and hands-on experience with Python
* 5+ years of experience working with Python and good understanding of SQL (MySQL)
* Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex platforms
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven expertise in designing and implementing data-driven solutions
* Familiarity with code management and CI/CD tools (e.g. Github, Azure Devops, Jenkins)
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
