Account Executive Job Description
The role of an Account Executive is multifaceted and pivotal in ensuring the success of client PR campaigns. Key responsibilities include developing media strategies, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with both clients and media contacts.
This position ensures client visibility across national, regional, podcast, radio, and TV platforms, while also contributing to broader brand awareness and engagement. Account Executives are key relationship builders and storytellers who drive results by connecting the right narrative to the right outlet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic PR plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely and proactive communication on campaign progress.
* Build, grow, and create new client relationships through exceptional service and strategic partnership development.
* Conduct media research and build targeted media lists to maximize exposure opportunities.
* Secure, filter, and respond to media opportunities that align with client goals and objectives.
* Schedule and coordinate media interviews, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
* Follow up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines, and monitor coverage through Google Alerts.
* Facilitate writing projects with team members in alignment with client goals and deliverables.
* Monitor news trends and identify timely angles for client exposure.
* Provide daily updates and maintain consistent communication with clients.
* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports and lookbooks to stakeholders.
* Maintain updated media trackers to record media coverage and interview status.
Results:
* Meet or exceed the expected number of interviews or media features.
* Clients receive timely and proactive communication on campaign progress.
* Media placements align with client goals, increase brand visibility, and credibility.

* Accurate and updated documentation of all PR activities and client deliverables.
Requirements:
* 40 hours plus per week to meet client needs.
* Proven experience or education in public relations or a related communications field.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Proficient in Google Suite, Gmail, and media monitoring tools.
* Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive mindset.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first team environment.
* Personable and professional in client and media interactions.
* Able to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.

Compensation:
