We design our people practices to serve psychological safety, belonging, and authenticity.Key ResponsibilitiesLife‑Cycle Assessment (LCA) Development & Execution – Conduct full LCAs for mining, rock sourcing, transportation, and field spreading processes; ensure compliance with ISO standards, GHG Protocols, IPCC guidelines, and relevant carbon accounting frameworks; quantify the carbon footprint and co‑benefits of InPlanet’s Enhanced Rock Weathering projects for emissions avoidance and reductions linked to changes in agronomic practices.Scalability & Process Optimization – Develop scalable LCA methodologies to streamline assessment processes across multiple projects; integrate automation tools where possible to reduce manual data collection bottlenecks; identify opportunities for emissions reduction in our supply chain and propose actionable sustainability strategies.Carbon Reporting & Certification – Produce GHG statements and carbon accounting reports to support MRV requirements; work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align LCA outputs with carbon credit certification needs.Stakeholder & Data Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with mines and supply chain partners to facilitate accurate and timely data collection; coordinate with farmers and supply chain teams to ensure high‑quality input data; troubleshoot data gaps when mines or other partners do not provide necessary information.Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing – Work cross‑functionally to ensure that LCA insights inform strategic decision‑making at InPlanet; present findings to internal teams and external partners, communicating complex sustainability assessments in a clear and actionable manner.Living Our ValuesWe have a big vision of solving climate change and are looking for individuals who are genuinely passionate about making a positive difference in the world of Carbon Removal Solutions.Core Skills & ExperienceLCA methodologies and tools (SimaPro, OpenLCA, GaBi, or equivalent); 7+ years of experience in carbon accounting and sustainability impact assessments.Familiarity with ISO LCA standards and GHG accounting protocols; knowledge of mining, agriculture, or supply chain sustainability is a strong plus.Ability to structure LCAs for scalability in a fast‑growing company.Key QualitiesHigh attention to detail—accuracy in sustainability reporting is critical.Solution‑oriented mindset—doesn’t just point out gaps, but proposes fixes and optimisations.Ability to build strong relationships with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.Driven and resilient—pushes forward despite data collection challenges.Comfortable with uncertainty—navigates the evolving landscape of carbon markets with adaptability.Bonus PointsCertified LCA Practitioner (ACLCA), Greenhouse Gas Accounting Certification (GHG Protocol, ISO), Certified Carbon Auditor (ISO).Benefits & CompensationSalary expectations and our compensation philosophy are openly discussed in the first interview with the goal of managing expectations fairly.
