In This Role
Integrates with existing and future technology. The role will be responsible for designing and developing new network solutions, improving the performance and scalability of existing systems, helping define security best practices, and developing innovative tools for network operations.
* Lead or contribute to the technical delivery of projects, including design, configuration, and installation of technical solutions that meet business expectations.
* Prepare detailed evaluations, requirements, and recommendations for technical and architecture designs for new network technologies/services and their integration into the enterprise.
* Architect, design, deploy, document, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
* Manage client expectations and maintain a high level of client trust and confidence.
* Research, analyze, recommend, and implement new software, hardware, tools, systems, and processes to provide state-of-the-art network operations.
* Build and maintain project-related documentation for accessible information sharing.
* Ensure maximum availability, integrity, and performance of the network infrastructure.
* Act as a technical escalation contact for users, junior team members, and other teams.
* Utilize strong troubleshooting skills and creative thinking to resolve issues.
* Comply with approved policies and processes defined by network and other groups.
Qualifications

* 5-7 years of experience in designing, configuring, and implementing network infrastructure.
* Strong working knowledge of IT network infrastructure, network security, cloud networks, cloud security, and network/computer operating software.
* Knowledge of network protocols and standards such as TCP/IP, BGP, and EIGRP.
* Understanding of intra- and inter-cloud secure routing using native cloud technologies and Palo Alto firewalls.
* Solid understanding of 802.1x and NAC, including Cisco ISE.
* Working knowledge and experience of SD-WAN.
* Knowledge of underlay and overlay networks and connectivity.
