Job Purpose:
The Executive – Equipment Control is responsible for overseeing container equipment inventory, ensuring effective coordination with depots and state agents, and maintaining accurate, real-time tracking of container movements. The role focuses on optimizing equipment utilization, planning asset allocation, resolving operational challenges, and supporting smooth logistics operations across Brazil and neighboring regions including Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Equipment Inventory Management & Planning
* Maintain and update daily container equipment inventory statistics with high accuracy.
* Monitor stock levels and prepare equipment allocation plans based on operational demand.
* Analyze historical data and trends to optimize equipment availability and positioning.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient equipment flow.
Depot & Vendor Coordination
* Act as the primary liaison between container depots and state agents for equipment movements.
* Coordinate with depot teams to track inbound and outbound container flows.
* Resolve depot-related operational issues and monitor vendor performance to ensure service reliability.
Container Tracking & Documentation
* Update and maintain container movement logs accurately in the tracking system.
* Ensure data integrity and investigate discrepancies in equipment records.
* Generate regular reports on equipment utilization, stock availability, and movement history.
Issue Resolution & Process Improvement
* Identify and resolve equipment-related operational issues in a timely manner.
* Work closely with Operations and Commercial teams to address inefficiencies in equipment allocation.
* Propose process improvements to enhance tracking accuracy, turnaround time, and operational efficiency.

* Maintain 100% accuracy in daily equipment inventory records, with discrepancies below 0.5% per quarter –

Education and Experience Requirements
Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or related field
* Specialization in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Operations, or Business Management
* Master's degree is preferred
Certifications & Training:
* Professional certifications in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Operations, or Logistics (preferred)
* Training in equipment flow optimization, compliance, and data management
Language Requirements:
* English – Fluent
* Portuguese – Required
* Spanish – Optional / Advantage
Background and Experience:
