Sales Engineering Delivery Manager (Middle) — AgileEngine
We are looking for a Sales Engineering Delivery Manager with 3+ years of experience to connect prospective clients and internal teams. You will lead discovery sessions, capture key details like timelines and budgets, and turn insights into clear, high-impact proposals. Strong knowledge of business strategy, the SDLC, and excellent communication skills are essential.
What you will do
* Technical Discovery Call & Stakeholder Engagement: Assemble Sales Support Engineering team, align them on preliminary information, following internal RACI procedures; Lead the Technical Discovery call with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly; Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the SDLC from ideation to market release to guide discussions and identify project feasibility; use consultative questioning to uncover client pain points and business objectives, extracting and analyzing high-level requirements (timeline, budget constraints, technical skill requirements, risk assessments); showcase presentation and storytelling skills in client-facing interactions via calls and emails.
* Proposal Development & Deliverable Creation: Develop dynamic, visually compelling decks and engagement proposals that articulate service offerings, project scope, value propositions, and strategic recommendations; customize deliverables to reflect client challenges identified during discovery; integrate technical insights with business strategy to account for both immediate deliverables and long-term client growth.
* Team Buildout and Project Kickoff: Act as the primary point of coordination among Sales, Recruiting, and Engineering teams, ensuring smooth hand-offs from initial engagement through team buildout to project kickoff; serve as a "concierge" for deals with fluid cross-functional communication to drive successful client onboarding; translate complex technical aspects into business-focused narratives; maintain a sales/consulting mindset throughout the discovery process to align proposals with targeted outcomes.
MUST HAVES
* 3+ years of experience in similar Sales & Delivery Management roles
* Exceptional Communication & Soft Skills: outstanding interpersonal abilities, strong presentation and storytelling skills for client-facing interactions
* UX & Presentation Design Acumen: solid grasp of UX principles and design thinking; proven track record of creating high-quality, visually engaging decks and proposals
* Technical Savvy & SDLC Knowledge: deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and familiarity with agile methodologies; ability to discuss technical nuances while keeping business impact in view
* Analytical & Strategic Thinking: ability to synthesize complex information, identify key insights, and recommend actionable strategies
* Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination: experience working across Sales, Engineering, and Recruiting teams; ability to serve as a liaison ensuring alignment
* Consultative Sales Experience: prior experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting role within a digital software environment
