Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and proper functioning of the school laboratory
Provide technical and operational support for practical classes
Support the development of students’ scientific skills
Contribute to the integration between theory and practice
Maintain the organization and administrative control of the laboratory
Promote a collaborative and ethical learning environment
Support the development of interdisciplinary and research projects
Responsibilities and assignments
Handling of reagents and laboratory glassware
Basic knowledge of workplace safety and waste disposal procedures
Organization and inventory control of materials
Preparation of budgets for subsequent material purchases
Performing calibration and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment
Preparation of materials to be used in class
Requirements and qualifications
Education:
Technical degree or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
Experience:
Preferably experience working in schools with upper elementary and high school students
Languages:
Fluent English (C1 or above)
Specific Technical Knowledge:
Basic technical concepts in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry
Use of educational platforms
IB Methodology
Soft Skills and Values:
Clear and assertive communication with teachers and students
Ability to anticipate laboratory needs
Discretion and professionalism when dealing with students
Collaborative spirit and proactive attitude
