The Opportunity
As a Delivery Manager, you'll be a key member of our leadership Tri-Force, working closely with Engineering Managers and Product Leads. Your primary responsibility will be leading multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality solutions for our clients. Together, you'll establish and grow partnerships with clients to deliver world-class products.
The role involves building and maintaining client relationships, managing project expectations, timelines, and resources. You'll lead negotiations throughout the project development process and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
As the project's central coordinator, you'll be responsible for aligning the Tri-Force leadership, maintaining team morale and engagement, and ensuring timely project delivery. Your expertise in project management methodologies and your ability to adapt to changing project needs will be crucial for success in this position.
This role is ideal for experienced project managers who excel in client-facing environments, have a track record of successful project delivery, and can effectively lead and motivate diverse teams.

Responsibilities
1. Create, guide, and communicate the holistic (WillowTree, client, 3rd party) project plans and goals to create alignment and overall program delivery success
2. Partner across teams to drive product development, own the creation of mission-critical products, and deliver desired outcomes
3. Lean on your deep client services experience to provide effective decision-making on complex issues of scope, design, architecture, and process
4. Deliver timely and tailored communication for various audiences: engineering teams, product managers, marketing partners, and C-level executives
5. Optimize processes and use of time for your team while focusing on key client activities
6. Be flexible and adaptive by applying appropriate project management frameworks that suit the customer and product
7. Visit your client regularly, usually 1-3 days per month, up to 20% of the time during kickoff or launch periods
Qualifications
8. 7+ years of experience in software development
9. Experience leading large-scale custom software development projects, from discovery through UX design, implementation, and deployment
10. Demonstrated experience and confidence managing software projects with complex scope and executive partners
11. Experience facilitating working sessions with client stakeholder groups and internal teams
12. You've managed projects, provided feedback, and led a multidisciplinary team
13. Ability to clarify complex ideas and navigate ambiguity for your team and client
Bonus Points
14. Professional experience as a Project or Product Manager and Scrum Master from a major technology consultancy or agency
15. You've guided a client to further their use of modern engineering practices or agile software delivery processes
16. Certifications such as CSM, CSPO, PMP, SA, SPC, etc.
