From gated VIP campaigns to tiered discounts and complex gifting, we give merchants control over how discounts show up, who sees them, and when they convert.
We work with lean teams who want better results without duct tape solutions.
About the roleWe're hiring a Merchant Success Manager to support a portfolio of mid-market and Shopify Plus brands, including newly onboarded merchants and existing accounts, with a focus on driving early activation and sustained engagement.
This role is not about routine check-ins.
Your core responsibility is to shorten time-to-value by helping merchants move quickly from installation to confident, repeat use of Abra.
That means guiding merchants through onboarding, recommending smart promotional strategies, and finding opportunities to provide hands-on support based on brand needs during their industry's ecommerce calendar.
This is an early-career role with a lot of support, mentorship, and room to grow.
You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing and have a direct line to product.
What you'll be doingShorten time-to-value for merchants
Guide new merchants through onboarding with a focus on fast, meaningful activation
Help merchants define what success looks like and identify the highest-impact next step
Remove blockers to adoption and re-engage merchants who stall or lose momentum
Drive confident, strategic product usage
Provide thoughtful promotional guidance, helping merchants translate business goals into smart promo structures
Teach merchants not just how to use Abra, but why certain approaches work
Occasionally configure promotions directly, especially during onboarding calls or for high-impact merchants
Reinforce success and support long-term growth
Help merchants understand what's working and why after promotions launch
Celebrate merchant wins to build confidence, momentum, and trust
Introduce new ideas and use cases as merchants grow more comfortable and capable
Support product-adjacent questions and surface recurring insights to the product team
What success looks like (6 months in)You'd be considered a win if you're:
Proactively engaging merchants without being prompted
Comfortable recommending promo strategies and explaining why they work
Creative and curious in how you help merchants succeed
Willing to try things, learn fast, and iterate when something doesn't land
Building real relationships with merchants who trust your input
Who this role is great forThis role is ideal for someone who:
Is early in their career and wants to grow into SaaS, ecommerce, or merchant strategy
Has hands-on experience with Shopify
Thinks creatively and isn't afraid to experiment
Learns quickly and asks good questions
Cares more about outcomes than checklists
Experience we're excited aboutExperience running or supporting a Shopify store
A background in marketing, ecommerce, or digital strategy
Comfort explaining tools or concepts to non-technical users
Familiarity with promotions, discounts, or ecommerce flows
