We are seeking an experiencedSenior Electromechanical Engineerwith a strong background in high-voltage substation projects.Our client is a leader in the design, implementation, and management of high-voltage systems. Their expertise plays a crucial role in driving a more environmentally conscious and energy-efficient future.As the Senior Engineer within your project team, you focus lies in high-voltage components (primary systems) and the associated structures required for installing and mounting these components. This includes high-voltage transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, cable and/or overhead line connections, and all supporting structures.You will take full responsibility from the basic/detailed design phase through to execution and project delivery.Your responsibilities include: Translating functional designs and requirements into concrete designs and project plans. Designing and verifying integrated solutions based on client specifications, technical standards and guidelines, and applicable laws and regulations. Preparing and reviewing technical documentation, drawings, calculations, and execution documents. Supporting the (Lead Engineer and) Technical Manager throughout the project phases from basic design in the preparation phase to detailed execution design. Identifying and resolving design bottlenecks, reporting findings, and performing quality checks.What You Bring to Succeed: A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Electrical Power Engineering, or a similar field. At least 5 years of experience designing complex high- and medium-voltage systems, with requirements related to availability, reliability, maintenance, and safety.
