SAP Mobile Developer
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining frontend application features for cross-platform mobile SAP Service and Asset Manager.
* Work with empowered teams to design, develop, and maintain frontend application features. Key responsibilities include following standard development practices, using efficient coding techniques, collaborating with product managers to clarify customer problems and feature requirements, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of developed features.
* A key aspect of this role is collaboration with UX designers to ensure seamless and visually appealing user experience following SAP Fiori Design Guidelines. Additionally, working with backend integration service developers to align on OData Service features and requirements is essential.
* The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of S/4HANA system and its relevant business processes and data objects, as well as the ability to setup necessary test data in S/4HANA system, perform end-to-end testing, and validate developed features against S/4HANA system.
* Thorough testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UI automation test scripts for developed features, is also a critical responsibility. Collaboration with quality engineers on issues reported, debugging, identifying, and fixing bugs, crashes, and performance issues is required.
* An additional task is providing sufficient documentation on features developed and collaborating with user assistance developer (technical writer) to provide information on product features developed to be used in product documentation.
* The ideal candidate will follow agile development principles and best practices during development, participate in daily scrums, contribute to backlog grooming, provide good quality effort estimates, resolve assigned customer incidents from ServiceNow quickly, maintain proper communication and notification with lead MDK developer and SAP development manager on vacation or absence, and ensure minimum impact to development timeline.
