Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of scientific knowledge, strong communication skills, and sales expertise. The SDR will be responsible for managing the sales pipeline, conducting outreach, and guiding prospects through the sales cycle—from initial contact to deal closure.
Key Responsibilities
* Qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline through proactive outreach and consistent follow-ups.
* Conduct sales meetings and presentations using company-provided training materials to explain products and services.
* Communicate clearly and professionally in English, ensuring strong verbal and written communication.
* Present professionally on video calls, maintaining an appropriate background, appearance, and demeanor.
* Confidently learn and discuss genetics-related topics to engage effectively with clients.
* Manage the entire sales cycle—from lead generation to contract closure—handling deals ranging from $100,000 to $2 million.
* Respond promptly to client inquiries and diligently follow up to move opportunities forward.
* Conduct outreach via phone and email, as well as respond to inbound calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Previous sales experience in genetics, biotech, clinics, labs, or related industries.
* Educational background in Biology/Medical fields is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills: track discussions, manage follow-ups, prioritize effectively.
* Familiarity with selling technology-driven solutions (AI, SaaS, or digital platforms) strongly preferred.
* Advanced English proficiency: clear verbal communication, strong written skills, and the ability to present confidently.
Preferred Qualifications
* Spanish language proficiency for engaging South American and Hispanic clients.
* Experience managing the full sales cycle independently.
