Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality service and resolving complex technical issues.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, photovoltaics, or renewable energy, with a minimum of one year of experience working with PV inverters. They will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The role will involve handling general inquiries, providing training and technical advice, solving escalations, and maintaining effective communication with management staff and Level 2 engineers. The successful candidate will also be responsible for submitting regular reports and documents to their supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle general inquiries for technical support and after-sales activities;
• Provide training and technical advice to partners and internal stakeholders;
• Solve/ handle technical escalations from customers;
• Maintain effective communication with management staff and Level 2 engineers;
• Submit regular reports and documents to supervisor;
• Perform minor on-site inspections, commissioning, troubleshooting, and replacement of defective products;
• Keep track of in-out replacements units;
• Perform firmware upgrading and minor reworks in hardware locally when necessary;
• Attend exhibitions and marketing events to introduce products and solutions;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Intermediate English for speaking and writing;
• Technical degree in electricity, photovoltaics, or renewable energy;
• Advanced knowledge of PV Inverters (on-grid and storage);
• At least 1 year of experience with PV inverters;
• Experience with DG (Distributed Generation);
• Basic knowledge in sizing electrical circuits, PV arrangement, protection circuits, and interpretation of electrical diagrams;
• Knowledge about Brazilian regulation on PV;
• MS Office;
Optional Skills:
• Spanish speaking;
• Experience with PV Large Utility-Scale;
• Experience with lead-acid and lithium batteries for PV storage systems;
• Zendesk experience;
• NeoCRM experience;
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires availability during work hours from Monday-Friday between 8-12h and 13:30-18h. The successful candidate will be based in Brazil and will be required to attend business trips within the country.
