Job Description:
Leadership Role
The Senior Leader will lead trade compliance efforts across all sites in the LATAM region, fostering collaboration with GE businesses to deploy and embed policies, procedures, and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish a strong working relationship with business stakeholders to develop and implement authorization-related policies, procedures, and tools.
* Drive a culture of compliance by effectively managing export authorizations and sanctions.
* Monitor proposed laws and regulations related to export authorizations and provide advice to stakeholders on implications and requirements.
Additional responsibilities include implementing recordkeeping policies, satisfying reporting requirements, developing and delivering training programs, setting performance metrics, engaging business leaders, collaborating with ITC teams, auditing compliance, and undertaking special projects to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong leadership skills with experience in international trade compliance.
* Ability to establish and maintain relationships with business stakeholders.
* Knowledge of export authorization laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
