We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support group, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to our employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A strong foundation in computer systems, networks, and operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
* Proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
* Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to solve problems independently and communicate solutions clearly.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to train and support non-technical users.
* A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, and networks for all employees, both onsite and remote.
* Provide timely troubleshooting and resolution for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS platforms.
* Support the deployment and integration of new productivity and collaboration tools.
* Monitor and maintain endpoint security, including antivirus, firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication.
* Assist with cloud infrastructure management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
* Conduct regular software updates, security patching, and vulnerability assessments.
* Document processes, create user guides, and train staff on new technologies and best practices.
