Cadence Design Systems Inc. is looking for a motivated Software Engineer II: PCIe VIP R&D to work with us in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.Job DescriptionResponsible for software development and validation of PCIe Verification IP.Participate in development efforts of the PCIe product to meet customer use models, solution requirements, and protocol specifications, ensuring the creation of reusable, robust software solutions for verification.Collaborate with multi-site and diverse teams to contribute to PCIe verification IP development, technical roadmaps, and training.Work with technical support and key customers to resolve implementation or usage issues related to Cadence VIP products.RequirementsComplete Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field with relevant experience.Extensive experience in C/C++ modeling, object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures.Deep understanding of complexity analysis, graph algorithms, and advanced debugging techniques.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize processes and outcomes.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations.Nice To HaveKnowledge of PCIe protocol or other protocols like USB, NVMe, SATA, DisplayPort.Familiarity with Verilog/SystemVerilog and UVM methodologies.Experience with digital logic design or IP/SoC verification flows.Customer orientation and understanding of EDA tool flows.Additional Job DetailsEmployment category: CLTEmployment term: 40 hours/weekLocation: Av Contorno 5800, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, BrazilAbout Cadence Design SystemsCadence provides tools, IP, and hardware for the entire electronics design chain, enabling innovative products across various market segments.
