Network Design and Implementation Specialist
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex networks. As a Network Design and Implementation Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), wireless local area networks (WLAN), or software-defined WAN (SDWAN) networks.
Your expertise will be applied to address switches, routers, WiFi-related devices, Active Directory, DNS, network performance monitoring, firewalls, content delivery networks, load balancers, and network functions virtualization.
You will work closely with the team to ensure high availability and performance of these networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, or SDWAN networks
* Configuration and troubleshooting of network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
* Implementation and management of security measures to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches
* Collaboration with the team to resolve complex network issues
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements:
* Engineer or Technologist in systems or telecommunications, computer science, or related field
* At least 2 years of experience in managing local area networks (wired/wireless) for over 2000 virtual/physical devices and extended datacenter supporting critical business environments
* Cisco CCNA Certification desirable
* Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, testing, IMAC for access/border/core network for Cisco/HP Family
* Knowledge of NSX/Virtualization network, Active Directory/Radius/802.1x/MFA authentication, Palo Alto Firewall/Windows Jump Server configuration, and Panorama and Cortex Management
* Good communication skills and fluency in English and Portuguese
