Job Role Overview
The primary objective of this position is to design and implement advanced scheduling optimization models. These models will be used to solve complex scheduling problems, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop sophisticated mathematical models to optimize scheduling processes, taking into account various factors such as event calendars, service times, passenger volumes, and destinations.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the developed models align with operational needs and are scalable for large-scale applications.
* Integrate operational rules, contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and business constraints into model formulations, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Utilize renowned optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools) to generate feasible, efficient schedules, analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
Working closely with operations, planning, and technology teams, you will analyze results to identify cost savings, efficiency improvements, and compliance risks. This role requires continuous refinement of models to adapt to changes in resource availability, demand patterns, and operational constraints, driving business value through data-driven insights.
