Solution Architect Job Description
The Solution Architect will design and architect end-to-end data solutions, leveraging Snowflake as the primary cloud data platform.
* Develop dimensional data models for the gold layer in Medallion architecture on Snowflake.
* Define data transformation processes using Coalesce.io, and manage data extraction and loading with Airbyte.
* Migrate legacy data systems built on SQL Server/SSIS to modern platforms with limited use of Azure Data Factory where required.
* Create a BI semantic layer to enable self-service analytics in Power BI.
* Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data architecture solutions.
* Establish best practices for data modeling, pipeline development, and version control using GitHub.
* Track project progress and deliverables through Jira.
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Project team.
